Just for my curiosity - why ostrich?

I have not come across anything more exotic but buffalo. A lot of locals are hunters which may satisfy the market need. Try Google. there are a number of mail order stores.

I know there are some ostrich farms in northern Alabama. I was driving home from Double Springs and nearly hit one crossing the road. I kept wondering what my insurance adjuster would have said.
