Default Pos. Moving from Dallas

Hello there.. I am poss. moving from Dallas looking for some areas to begin my research. I will be moving with family (wife and two children 3 and 8). Looking for good location, church (non-demoninational)and good schools.
Any advise?

It would help forum readers if you would list a price range (unless you don't have a budget), as well as specify if you prefer a single family home area, or are ok living in an apartment, etc. If you already have a job lined up, then posting that area of town where the office is located would help others tell you what's close (to reduce commute times). Etc.

I would advise you to stay in Dallas. The cost of living is way cheaper and you would be happier in Dallas. Trust me!!

Nah. I've spent time in both cities. Birmingham, along its southern stretch of suburbs, is a pretty great place to raise a family.

The best, or at least one of the best, area in Birmingham with top school system is Hoover. Do your research before you try anywhere else.
