How many different suspects in Memphis and Miami are nicknamed "Little D"?

First 48 is one of my favorite tv watching here in Minnesota.

Most of the ones we see are from Memphis and Miami.

I agree with another poster that losing Memphis would be bad.

Why I like the program is it shows the frustration and sometimes crimes don't get solved.(unlike fictional tv shows)

What is disgusting is how some suspects can lie and lie and how hard it is for getting witnesses to talk.

I love the show. I'm going to miss Mason and the rest of the detectives from Memphis.

I am always amazed at how few of these folks, even the career criminals, "lawyer up".

The First 48 is awesome! I don't know what it will do for Birmingham's reputation, but that show rocks.

I've been watching it since November and have never seen a Birmingham case on there. Everyone I've seen was Miami, Tucson, Memphis, Cincinnati, and Detroit. It helped me figure out why some of the places I've drove through seemed so ghetto - everyone up there talks about Reading Road like it's paved with gold but half of it is in the hood. The worst neighborhood up (Avondale) there is right between their two biggest universities (U of Cin & Xavier) and contains their zoo.

Default Detective Mason

I feel that Detective Mason is also a very good detective. I also like Shillaci. They both have the attitude of scaring the answers out of their suspects.

Default Birminghams rep

Well it certainly could not hurt Birminghams reputation. Birmingham is ranked next to New Orleans with crime rate. Maybe the publicity that Birmingham will get out of the show will wake some of the people up and get them to start doing something to improve the crime rate. Just go to al.com and pull up the news and Birmingham and you will see the murders and thefts and violance that is taking place everyday in Birmingham.
