Default Outlet Shopping in Bessemer?

My daughter told me someone told her there were some outlets in Bessemer that are good for shopping, I was hoping someone could confirm. There are still a few left up around Boaz but not many.

Yes. It's called Watermark Place. It's a pretty good place, worth checking out.

If you go to Watermark, go to the food court.
No, really.
There's a little family run Cajun place. The cajun-style food there is actually good. Get the crab bisque and the shrimp n grits. The gumbo is pretty good too.
Really.

The place is kinda dying though. They family of the restaurant said there was a rumor the whole place would shut down. Even if it doesn't, it looks like its devolving into a dead mall.

Maybe. But outlet centers tend to thrive during bad economic times, so we'll see.

Eh wait til Alabama Adventures opens again for the season. They always seem to do good during that time....especially seeing as many people park there instead of paying for parking at the park

Thanks for the tip on the cajun place, my husband loves cajun food so it will give him incentive to come with me!
