Default Birmingham Metro Interstates

Some interstates in Birmingham are terrible. Either they are too small (meaning a small amount of lanes) and they are too bumpy and rough. Does anyone know if they would be fixed?

Most of the interstates around Birmingham are really bad. I travel I-65 everyday, and it's really embarrassing how bad it is between I-459 and Malfunction Junction. I know they were supposed to fix it several years ago. Obviously, they didn't (big shocker). They keep doing temporary fixes that don't last longer than a few months.

At least they finally started widening I-65 in Shelby County.

Isn't I-65 supposed to widened to 8 lanes from the Shelby County Airport ro Gardendale....If this is the case, ALDOT need to consider widening I-65 into Chilton County to accomodate the growing population of Calera!
