Default Birmingham Botanical Gardens

Have you been there? I love that place.

I was there briefly a few days ago. The rose garden should be blooming in about 4-5 weeks, but the iris and daylily gardens looked ready to bloom much sooner.

Anyone spending time in the Birmingham area should make time to relax and enjoy the paths and the scenery there. Parking is free and seemed plentiful. Even garden admission is free.

I may have to be in Birmingham next week (probably on Wednesday or Thursday). Weather and time permitting, I will take my camera and post a few pictures of the gardens when I return.

Any requests? If not too far off my route (I-20 from Atlanta to B'ham, then Hwy 280 to Mountain Brook/Homewood), I may be able get pictures of whatever you'd like to see in the area.
