You have to admit that Montgomery is much more progressive than Jackson. They are the same as far as culture but I think Montgomery has a larger metro.

Jackson could be compared to some places in Birmingham, but Birmingham has a diversity of communities more. I couldn't really compare the Birmingham metro area to Jackson Mississippi. Jefferson county right now has too many problems to move there...Owes a lot of money and seems to want to spend any stimulus money on project not needed as of now and there are problems about sewer bills that might increase. East Tuscaloosa county is better, in my opinion. The county is more organized. They have a new elementary school that is called Lakeview Elementary.

I thought Jefferson County was over with the sewer bill problem ?
