Default Quiet Neighborhoods
Does anyone know of a quiet neighborhood to the west of 1200 8th Avenue (anything west of I-20 would be preferred) - I've been reading some of the comments by local residents, and am a little intimidated by the mention of a few rough neighborhoods in Birmingham...

P.S. I'm in my mid-50's, so looking for quiet neighborhoods with older residents...

Well, anything along the northern slope of Red Mountain east of UAB would be perfect. That stretch along Highland Avenue and Clairmont, as well as Crestwood is pretty great. Ideal for somebody like you.
