Default Pleasant Grove

I am looking to move to the area soon...real soon. Came across a house in Pleasant Grove. After seeing a few different posts on here, I'm curious....how would living in Pleasant Grove be for a family of four ? My wife and I and two daughters. The schools ? Safety and crime ? The rent is awful cheap, lol. W'ed be coming from a small mostly white suburb outside Houston. Thanks so much for any help.

We know people who live there and like it. Mind you, it's very blue collar/working class. If that's what you like, then by all means.

You can buy some nice homes in the Pleasent Grove / Hueytown area with monthly payments just as cheap as you would pay for rent.

I live in pleasant grove.. It is a nice town. They are getting a new high school.. it is very nice. Although I must tell you, the robberies/break-ins have been absolutely terrible the past few months in Pleasant Grove.. but other than that, it is a great town!

10 years ago Pleasant Grove was an extremely nice bedroom community. Honestly, it is in the bottom 3rd of livable areas in the Bham area now.
