Default Judge's Drug Dealing Son Walks Free

This Ashland kid was a walking drug store with two outstanding warrants and they let him off the hook because he was a judge's son. Apparently, the good people of Alabama have not been informed of this story by the local media:

Alabama Court Watch: AL Judge's Drug Dealing Son , Alex Rochester, Walks Free

Arrest Report

Spread the word.

It all sounds only too familiar. I have been in two situations in which the law used it's power to help a family member or friend. I don't know what to do. One of the cases is coming up in court and the judge will not respond to any motions filed by our side, but grants the motions that the lawyer friend makes. What can we do? Does anyone know? It is very complicated and would take pages to tell the whole case.My son was getting a divorce and his wife's dad is a police officer and there were police officers harrassing my son almost daily. We were not able to do anything about this either. It is not right for judges, police officers etc to misuse their power in any case.

Maybe one day I'll write my experience with a couple of district attorneys and some social service agencies. I'm an adult, but it's krap like this that really teaches you to grow up and see the world and many of its inhabitants for what they are.

Yes, we should all tell our stories. I believed in the law at one time, but now I have seen too many cases of abuse of power. My daughter is involved in a divorce and her husband's family lives in another state but they all have mega bucks and it seems that money is doing all of the talk in this case. Her husband never wanted her to work and then when the divorce started he took off to another state with the two children leaving her without money, car or anything else. He doesn't even want the children he is trying to give them to his brother whose wife didn't want to have children because it might mess her body up. He doesn't have money, but his parents, brothers and everyone else in their family seems to have loads.
