Default Warrior area

Can anyone tell me about the Warrior area? I am about to start house hunting soon and would like to know if Warrior is a good area to live. I have been searching online for homes that are under $150,000 and have at least a half acre of land. I have founded alot of choices in Warrrior that are in my my price range. Also Warrior is not to far from my job (30-35 minutes from UAB).

I have already searched online for homes in Pelham,Trusville, and Gardendale but could not find that many houses with land that are in my price range.

All I can tell you about Warrior is that a friend of mine moved there 30some years ago, raised her kids there and all three of them now live in Warrior with their respective families.

I live in Hayden, just north of Warrior, and my drive to downtown is 25-30 minutes. There are a lot of homes for sale, some brand new and some only a few years old, priced from 95k and up, most should have the amount of land you are looking for too.

As far as Warrior, it has about everything you need to survive, grocery, a few places to eat, plus you are only 15 minutes from Fultondale/Gardendale shopping.
