Yes, avoid scarebus if at all possible. They break way more than boeing. Plus, their auto controls confuse pilots in stress situations (read the cause of the air france crash out of south america..pilot couldn't figure out how to fly the plane manually, and caused the stall that killed everyone)

Plus, it's made in france..that's a good enough reason to avoid it, unless you're looking for a quick surrender...
