I have been on an opioid for years. My Internist was being intimidated by DEA so she referred me to wonderful pain mgmt doctor who has worked with wounded soldiers. He actually worked at Walter Reed for a time.

We decided to keep me on my low dose of Fentanyl- it takes the edge off my pain and has given me some quality of life.
