Now you may be thinking I am crazy thinking one of the rainiest climates on earth is better than Singapore's climate, which gets less rain than Cherrapunji does in July. Why? Cherrapunji has an extremely rainy season, but Cherrapunji has what Singapore doesn't; a DRY SEASON. Singapore has basically a year round wet season with a dryer period. Rain, the life giver to plants and trees, but it's also one of the banes of my existence. Sure its nice enough to look at when you have no plans that day but when you have plans that can get ruined by rain it annoys me to no end. When I couldn't enjoy the Yankee game on May 16, 2014 because of rain I was denied an opportunity to get together with Joe and my brother. That was just one of the countless things in my lifetime that got ruined by rain. What rain brings to me is utter depression and sadness....
