My Daily Life and Thoughts while in San Diego | List of Best Posts
This blog is where I express myself to the world or at least to those who might stop by to read what I post . Maybe God will use what I post (I am a Christian and this blog will have a most decidedly Christian bent to it) to good effect in the lives of my readers.

I may turn some of my posts into a book. I may cease blogging here altogether. Who knows. But for now..I am content to post away in this, my own little corner of the world.

Rather than reading through my now lengthy list of posts you may wish to read what I consider to be my very best posts or you can just read the posts that deal with a single subject category that might interest you.

Please know that I am open to any input on any topic I write about. If you have something to say about anything you see written here please....feel free to speak up in the form of leaving a comment or sending me a PM (private message).

And if you are in San Diego and wish to meet the one and only Carlos (that's me )...drop me a private message. I always enjoy meeting one of my readers!

Thanks.

Carlos

How the organized Church of today is busting at the seams with hypocrites - PART 1.

It was a good thing that I was able to stay where I am as when I woke up this morning my back was killing me. I could barely move or get out of bed. This has happened to me before so it's nothing to be overly concerned about. Mostly it happens when I have sat on hard surfaces too much such that my back ends up going out of whack with muscles that get stiff.

It will go away.

I also woke up with a belly ache and a slight headache.

Thank God I can sit here today...

I have a lot to say in this post so if it gets kinda long...well...you all will have to just grin and bear it

Having done all that I could do and the seeming certainty of my having to leave this time for real...I had packed my suitcases this morning and had put them outside the trailer ready for pick-up by a friend who had asked his mother if he could store them for me in their home. At little past 10:30 AM I called my friend to pick up the suitcases.

A time that we...

I scout out the area preparing to be homeless...

Posted 05-19-2009 at 09:29 PM by carlos123 (My Daily Life and Thoughts while in San Diego)

It seems all but certain that I will end up homeless at noon tomorrow. I have accepted that and will make the most of a bad situation come what may.

Today, while eating at Soup Plantation (yum, yum) I spent some time thinking through what to do and it dawned on me that it might just be possible for me to not only survive but do rather well on the streets so to speak. Well, at least as well as can be expected.

It dawned on me that Clairemont has freely available Internet...

I speak with a homeless guy about how to survive on the streets.

My situation has taken a turn for the worse. Although I now have tons of food to eat and will be stuffing my face like a chipmunk today in preparation for any further lean times to come my landlord has up and decided that he now wants money instead of exchaning work for rent.

While this is perfectly understandable he told me a couple of days ago that my paying the $150 in rent money was the least of his concerns, that I was good for it, and that I could either pay him cash when...

A response to someone who wrote me by email....

A reader of this blog who happens to have also become a good friend wrote me wondering what happened to the two jobs I was offered and rather than giving just her an overview I thought it would be good for me to give a short synopsis of my situation publicly here, in case I had left anyone else a bit confused.

My present situation is as follows...

I have accepted two job offers. One is with a firm that is using me to make calls to executives of local area companies so...
