Has anyone done the zip line tours outside of Horseshoe Bend? If so, what did you think? Worth the money?

TIA.

I realize this is probably a little late, but wanted to put out my opinion for anyone else who might be interested.

Me, my wife, and two of my sisters visited Boise in July and decided to try ZipIdaho (and I just realized I'm sitting here wearing their t-shirt right now!!). We called with a few questions, they were super nice on the phone (as is everyone in Boise) and answered everything, so we made a reservation for the next day.

The drive out was nice (only about 25 minutes from our hotel), and we all toodled off for an afternoon's adventure. (we're all in our 60's, so don't do much quickly any more) Anyway, we got the briefing from our two guides and and then piled into their Suburban for the 20 minute drive out to the "launch" site. Both our guides were very personable, very funny, and very informative. I won't go into details on the zip trips, but we all had a wonderful time.

Overall, it is a bit expensive, but all of us thoroughly enjoyed it. Even the sister who is afraid of heights had no problems with it at all!! Would we do it again? Well, it isn't really something you would do over and over, but if we had visitors in town, we'd definitely take them and share in their experiences.

One hint for the gentlemen: The harness is like a parachute with two crotch straps. As you get ready for each launch, it would behoove you to ensure you are properly "arranged". You cannot stop halfway through a zip, and it is difficult to see the next landing platform with your eyes watering heavily!! Also, your screams will upset the little animals!
