Default Boise new residential areas for retired couples?

Any new suburban Boise residential developments specifically targeted towards retired couples? Homes in the 200-350K range with community amenities desired.

I believe they are in the planning stages for such a development in Harris Ranch. There is also a community in Meridian near the hospital. Touchmark Meridian, I think.

I looked at Touchmark last year and really liked it very much. The lady there who is the director is really good. If I had moved I would have really looked at it for my mom

"The Orchards" is in two Boise locations now--an established area off of Fairview and a newer area off of Cloverdale. They are nice single level homes/condos with a clubhouse and pool and all of the maintenance taken care of. The development is geared towards empty nesters and retirees--not totally "seniors," but a nice, vibrant older group. My good friend's parents live in The Orchards off of Fairview (on McKinley, I believe) and LOVE it--they are in their mid-60's. I am a realtor and showed several of the brand-new units off of Cloverdale this past weekend. They've got great homes from the $140s to mid 200's. Their website is The Orchards| New Homes in Idaho's Premier Master Planned Community. It might sound like I work for the, but I don't!

My parents are thinking of relocating here from Eugene, OR and are going to check out Touchmark (they're stying there for 3 nights).
I'd love to find other options for them to check out while they're here, but there's not a lot.
There are a lot with Condos / Aparments, but not stand alone houses.

They're debating between here and PA (1/2 the family is on the east coast and 1/2 is in Northern CA and Boise) and I would LOVE to sway them to Boise.

Hopefully I can play up the mild winters and summers as the humidity and cold winters are why they moved from the east coast in the first place.

Default SpurWing Greens in Meridian?

Any local feedback on the SpurWing Greens development in Meridian off Chinden Blvd.? I know that the development is under new ownership/management and also had some interesting homes for the Parade of Homes this month. What are your thoughts?

Is there anything like "The Orchards" now (or in the planning) in SE Boise?
(but not out in the boondocks, e.g. Columbia Village)
