Well,

I think Boise is a wonderful place, as far as employment goes you can find it if you know who to talk to and where to look. Like you said the singles scene also really good, but Boise in general is what you make it. I love it i've found what i love to do here, in Boise. What exactly are you looking for job wise? I know you said banking but you also expressed a love in music, which is also what i love, so there i can be of some help i hope. If your going for the band scene Boise doesnt necessarily have what your gonna be looking for other than a few good venues to play and you'll see the same faces every weekend. But you can get a lot done here as far as writing and such.

But all in all Boise is a great place i mean shoot it's got everthing you could ask for, the lake is so close in summer and the ski resorts and the white water rafting and everything else. Basically yea, this is the right place. If you want more info just let me know. email me at Boarderbabie24@hotmail.com. I don't get on here very often.

There are jobs, but they're hard to come by without experience or if you're expecting to make more than 25k/yr.

I also don't think Boise has a particularly strong social scene for twenty-somethings. I mean, it is a college town with a decent population, but the night-life will certainly be less than what you expect in St. Louis (and very insular, it seems), and there is a relative dearth of singles here (it seems they're already attached, religious, or have moved away to the coasts).

But it can't be beat for the quality of life, especially if you want to be outside. If you can put with a (possibly) lower paying job, quieter nightlife than Portland, Seattle, et al, and less singles than most bigger cities, then you'll love it here.

And even so, you'll probably love it here anyway.
