Default Coming to Boise to visit this weekend

The wife and I have been talking about it quite a bit after researching a number of places to move.

We are excited to see Boise. We will be hooking up with Torrie for a lay of the land and to check out some homes, and will be enjoying the first 'vacation' without the little ones. We have 2 1/2 year old twins and a baby that will be a year old in a little over a week. Even though it will be great to have the quality time for the two of us, we will probably not be able to get them out of our minds.

We can't wait to check out Boise and see what it is all about. Too bad there is a big fire going on, but that is probably common I would imagine.

Can't wait!

I actually enjoyed it quite a bit! Unfortunately, the wife didn't like it as much. I just don't think that she is too hip on moving away from her family, and I have to respect that.

It is a financial struggle in California, but I guess for now we will try to do what we can to make it work.

I'm a bit disappointed, but it has to be a joint decision.

I enjoyed that Boise is a much smaller 'big town' but she didn't like that it was the biggest city in the state. I think she likes the amenities more than I do.

Plus, the job market had me a bit concerned. I was scanning job opportunities for the past month or so and literally nothing came up in my job area.

So, it looks like Idaho will have two less Californians coming. (which I'm sure is fine with most Idahoans!)

Never say never, but it looks like a no go for now.

Sorry to hear that your wife wasn't too keen on the thought. I applaud you for taking her feelings into consideration rather than being insistent!

The job market is slow all over the west. I'm having a time of trying to get some people hired
