Ive been here just over 2 weeks so far and LOVE IT! My apartment is so much nicer than I had expected. I love the area I live in, it has everything within a 5 mile radius. Someone knocked on my door, I opened it to find an older woman holding a cake and thought "Great, some bake sale or something." She was my neighbor welcoming me to the building and the area! I swear, I have never had ANYONE do that, EVER.

I am so pleased with Boise so far....even the weird weather!

I loved it! i really missed rain...In CA we wouldnt get any for about 7 months then get like 5 days of downpour then nothing again for several months, etc....
I'm looking forward to some good thunder and lightening!!

That is so great that you made it here! Did you end up in Boise or Meridian? Love that your neighbor baked you a cake--we should all be so welcoming to new folks.
