What is the transit name for Meridian buses? I want to look at their website and see some of the routes that are available. My son is going to attend ISU at their Meridian campus and I was wondering if he could get a bus from Kuna or Star to Meridian.

Thanks in advance for your responses.

ValleyRide runs all mass transit in Ada County. It looks like route 42 is the only one that goes by ISU and that there is no service to Kuna.

You've just stumbled on to one of the major flaws in the valley: the lack of a comprehensive public transit system. Here's a map of service in the entire valley. As you'll see, a vast stretch of it isn't covered: http://valleyride.com/docs/ValleyRideBusSystemMap.pdf

You're out of luck coming from Kuna. Technically you can make it from Star, but you are severely restricted and have to go well out of your way to get there. Route 44 picks up in Star and goes down State Street all the way to downtown Boise. From there, Route 42 goes out of downtown towards Nampa and stops off right in front of ISU. But Route 44 only does one trip in each direction each day (west-to-east in the morning, east-to-west in the late afternoon/early evening). Route 42 also has limited service.

Zedd gave you the link to the main site for all of the routes.

Just throwing it out there, but maybe private shuttles arranged by the cities or the school can be investigated.
