Middleton or Caldwell
Hello all,
I am moving to Boise or close to it and was leaning toward the Middleton or Caldwell area. Anyone have any input as to which one you think is a better area to buy in right now? I have heard the market is soft there and dont want my new home to be effected just because of an area. Drive time do not come into play with me because I am semi retired and wont be driving into downtown Boise daily.
Also anyone heard anything good or bad about the Middleton Lakes or Quail Ridge subdivisions?
Tips pointers for either of those areas or any others please pass them on.
Thanks for your time in advance!!!

Damn, '69, you're good at reading between the lines. On a more serious note ~ I be a far northern californianite looking for a great place to move. Close to water and snowskiing yet with mild enough winters to be able to ride my motorcycle about most days.

I rode down part of the panhandle in August, from Bonners Ferry to Couer d'Alene, and was touched by the beauty. However, as an avid motorcyclist, I'm thinking that far north in the wintertime and motorcycle riding probably don't mix to well.
I'm betting the Boise area's weather is mild enough for year round riding so knowing the difference twixt Caldwell and Middleton would have value to me as well.

And Emmet too .. realizing Caldwell and Middleton aren't too far apart.

My ex-wife told me the same thing once too. Read between the lines that is.
I really like the Lowell Lake area. After searching around I think I finally found a nice chunk of land I could call home. It is far enough away from Nampa and yet not really in Caldwell that I dont think any of the maddness of city life will bother me.

The South part of lake Lowell is pretty isolated, but the suburbs are growing fast and almost reach the North side of the lake.

Just north east of Lake Lowell. Kind of in-between Caldwell and Nampa but far enough away from them both that the city life wont effect me.
