Me and my wife are looking to move out of the NV area, been looking (or thinking) Boise would be a good fit but wondered if anyone had any experience with some of our concern's regarding:
Building zones, codes
Farming
Retirement community
Schooling, or youth activities
My and my wife are thinking of starting a small family farm, not commercial, just for family use. Chicken's, pigs, maybe a Horse and Heffer. What city zoning ordinances, or zoning laws are there, is this possible?
I will be trying to build an eco friendly house, I am thinking a story of the house may be underground, possibly two stories. Does anyone have any experience with building codes as they relate to anything built underground.
I am also looking for roughly 5, to 10 acres of land, house is not that important but if someone knows of a good deal on land house combo that would be great. I am trying to stay around 100k for the land, that is my max for just land.
My wife is a social workers, and does event planning for elderly folks, is there is large older generation currently living in the Boise, N. Boise area?
We also have a young daughter who is 16, still finishing up school. Are there activities for younger folks in any specific area of Boise, and which schools would you recommend to attend.
That is all I can think of for now, but any help would be greatly appreciated.
