Yes,
My neighbor is in the field and recommends the two below. If he ever had a need for back surgery he said he would go to these guys:
Gannon Randolph and Tim Floyd /Both work at Boise Orthopedic Clinic 323-2600. Both are Spine Fellowship Orthopedic Surgeons.

Don't forget to look up Anesthesia Assoc. Oh that's right they're the only group in Boise. How many back surgeons are there to choose from is a better question. You might have the complete list.

I'd also vote for Howard King, with Intermountain Orthapedics....he actually did my back surgery over 10 years ago when he was working in Seattle. He recently also worked on a friend of mine and she's doing great!

Actually you'll be suprised by this, but my neighbor who's in the industry told me that Boise has more back surgeons than Seattle. He indicated the many are too "surgery happy" so be careful who you choose is the warning I got from him.

BoiseBob.
If it hurts all the way down your leg then GET the operation.
Best thing I ever did after putting up with all the B###S### therapy and such for 5 years.
The minute I woke up I felt relief...

I'm an ex surgery nurse from Boise. DEFENITLEY stay away from Verska and his partner (can't remember his name) I saw him paralyze someone. I would recommend Howard King or Tyler Frizzell. Stay away from Paul Montalbano and Michael Hajjar they are money hungry and will operate on anyone even if they don't actually need the procedure. They also do quite a bit of insurance fraud. Boise is ranked number one for most back surgeries per capita and Bend, OR is ranked #5. Good luck to you and I hope this helps.
