Theres is an excess of Juvenile crime in America, no less in Kuna. I would add though, that Kuna is a small community, newer high school, homes, etc., so it seems that there would be less. Not true. I am up late at night. I've lost count of the times in the past 7 years (the time I've lived in Kuna) I've looked outside (summer nights)and seen Juveniles, 2 or 3 together, males, roaming the street. I've seen one urinate, several opening or striking mail boxes, some sneaking around in the school yard. Two nights ago, 3 males, were hitting or kicking something down the street. As they passed my house, they kicked a neighbors car, then kicked open the control boxes to a street light and remover the contact switches, thus, no street light. Add the damage to our common area play equipment, broken sprinklers, broken branches on trees. I find Juvenile crime in Kuna excessive. You can read the local paper and see more; vandalism, theft, vehicle break-ins. Now add their foul language you hear, males and female, when you enter and exit the local stores when they are 'hanging out' or just walking by, anywhere. No real reason for their behavior, except their parents are very lazy, and lack concern for others to teach them any respect. Pure disrespect from adults, the parents, and their kids. Does this sound negative? Buying a new home, in a new subdivision, and then see and hear all this crud going on in the streets and nearby homes, is very upsetting.
