Does anyone know how likely Micron will stay in this area and if they will expand in the next 5 years? Is it not a good idea to invest in property that depend on Micron's health? Thanks for your feedback

My personal opinion is that they will likely stay in the area for a very long time. Expansion is much iffier and not something I would risk my money on. At the moment, they are losing money and it seems unlikely there will be manufacturing capacity built in Boise anytime soon as the industry continues to consolidate production. Micron Boise is now mostly corporate jobs and those are probably safe as long as the company remains headquartered in Boise and is able to stay as an upper tier memory company.
