Any thoughts? Does anyone know if it is (safely) bikable to Micron?

Kind of. You're basically riding Eckert Road to Federal Way, then down Federal Way to Micron. Eckert has some bike paths until you get to the Surprise Valley turnoff, but then it's a straight highway that wouldn't be bad to bike on. I really don't see many people biking that road, but I don't see why it would be unsafe. I personally wouldn't bike that stretch of Federal Way, however. Fast moving car traffic (50mph+), but wide lanes.

Federal Way does have a pedestrian path nearly all the way to Gowen which makes it a little better. There is also an option to avoid Federal Way and cut through Columbia Village to the back entrance to Micron.

I bike commute in other parts of town and think that biking from Harris Ranch to Micron would be pretty reasonable.
