I have decided to not relocate back to Boise and am now looking to get my things out of storage and move them down to Arizona by way of California. I'm limited by my storage facility there as to what I can do with access issues and also my not being able to leave a POD or ABF trailer in there due to the limited space available for them.

Has anyone here actually used a local Boise company to either load their business truck or a UHaul truck and drive it out of state? Not sure how well my plan will work , but I was really hoping to find a good long distance mover so as to get my things out of Idaho in the next week or two . TIA

My husband and I used 208moving.com on our last move. Admittedly, it was local to Treasure Valley, but it seems to me that you could hire them to fill up a truck with your storage unit items.

They do have long distance services, but it can get pricey. They can move your stuff from Boise to Phoenix, Arizona for over $5,000. My question would be, do you have $5,000 worth of stuff in that unit? Long Distance Rates - 208 Moving Company Seems like it would be cheaper to just have them load up the truck for you and do the driving yourself.

Funny that you should mention this company. I actually contacted them and they said that they don't do long distance moves. Thanks for posting !
