I've only experienced one real winter, so sorry if this is a dumb question. But is using a floor heater cheaper than using an actual heater here? I'm a wuss when it comes to the cold so I'd probably have it on a lot lol. Winter is the only thing I'm still trying to get used to here.

Just to clarify - are you referring to an under- or in-floor heating system, or are you talking about a space heater that you set down on the floor?

Heating with electric will cost more than heating with natural gas, if that's what you're asking.

Bundling up is free...

Seriously, if you only had 1 cold winter I bet you should invest in warm clothes. Flannel lined jeans, a base layer, and a mad bomber hat will make even single digits bearable. Stock up at a columbia outlet next time you are near one.
