Idaho is the only State in the US to make Vouge's Top 10 Travel destinations in the world for 2017. Condé Nast is the parent of Vouge. It has a huge travel magazine and their mass media reaches 164 million consumers.

This is the actual Vouge article. They specifically mention the mountain town of Boise and a few of our ski resorts.

We don't even need ski resorts in Boise.. Our roads make top notch cross country ski trails!

LOL! My Mom sent me a picture this morning of the foot of snow and her shoveled driveway. I don't think it's been that bad since 2010.
