I'm interested if there are any general places around or outside the Boise area (even coordinate ranges) that any of you would recommend for being remote and uninhabited, where there's no one around.

For those curious about the reason: I live in Boise and would like to record some constant loud noises without having to pay for a studio or disturb anyone (I live in a shared apartment), and I thought I could do that in my car in a place where no one's around. It would also just be nice to have little time away from so much bustle every now and then -- somewhere where it's real quiet and distant.
