Are you in the health industry? This is a huge development in Eagle that might offer some opportunities in the very near future. Had the opportunity to take a tour recently and was quite impressed with what was being offered. Check it out.
The Legacy will offer 5 state of the art signature academies- backed by some of worlds greatest athletes- Mia Hamm for the soccer academy, Mark Spitz for the swimming academy, Jack Nicklaus for the golf academy and Jim Courier for the tennis academy.
This is the first of it's kind in the country. If interested I would email on the website to see when they will be posting for jobs.
One more inside tip.....there's a new charter school that's going to be opening up right next to this development, I believe in Fall of 2009 so there could be some opportunities there.

When searching online I've always started at monster.
But I've found careerbuilder.com has much more jobs, especially entry level and mid-level jobs.

Try the Gigs on Craigslist, and listings for work at home on CareerBuilder, Yahoo JObs, and Monster.com. Many stay at home jobs. Bid on Elance.com gigs - nationwide! best of luck.
post resume on those, and also try Dice.com - more for tech people.

For Torrie
Hi Torrie,
Your links appear very helpful regarding work in Boise. My husband, 3 kids and I currently live in California, but we are not the typical cash cows. We simply cannot afford to stay here. We were considering moving back to Colorado Springs, but someone recommended we check into Boise and the surrounding areas, and from the research so far, we're pretty excited!
Is it as hard to find jobs as some people are saying? I work for an insurance agency and my husband works for a school district here doing janitorial/maintenance work. He also spent 2 years working for the US Air Force Academy in the Springs in carpentry/maintenance. Finding something in our same lines of work would be our biggest concern, as well as a good school (that one shouldn't be too hard considering California's ranking).
Unfortunately, we aren't able to purchase a house at this time, but are hoping to find a landlord of at least a 3-4 bedroom home that will understand our credit/lay-off history and know we are a stable, loving family that has always worked our way out of ups and downs.
Not to dump all this on you, but some advice/opinions on how hard or easy it is to find these lines of work and get settled would be GREATLY appreciated!
Thank you in advance for your time,
Kim
