Boise-Metro Jobs
I thought it would be helpful to start a thread on jobs in the area. The topic comes up a lot so maybe if someone catches wind of a company coming to town they can post it here. There's been other threads started, but I didn't see a general one like this. Since the tech industry is quite prevalent in Boise-Metro, there's a separate thread for that profession.

I meant to post this article when it first came out....It talks about Boise Valley's Economic Partnership and their role to draw new business' to the Treasure Valley. Looks like there's some good news in the works. Hint: there's some job opportunities listed in here.

I was watching the history channel the other night and saw a commercial for this website that promotes 100k+ jobs. Anybody ever look on it? Not sure if any jobs from Boise are listed, but for those looking, this might be a website to check out.
Jobs & Career Management - $100k+ Job Search @ Theladders.com
If you pull up the demographics for this area, according to Boise Valley Economic Partnership, 12.4% of households show an income of 100k to 149,999K. Some of these could be combined income, but I'm sure that's not always the case. Looking into 2012, it's being projected to see an increase to 18.7% for the same income range.

Are that any real non sales jobs for people working at home - who are very skilled with computers and computer operations but not high speed data entry or programming in the area. We have 6 computers - 1 is a laptop.
My wife is currently a casino supervisor Teller and I design websites and work affiliate programs - I note that clickbank (one of my affiliate providers is based in Boise) My wife was a commercial underwriter with companies and a commercial account manager with agencies but where we live now - St Joseph MO - there are no such jobs.
Casinos in Idaho as far as I can tell dont have cage cashiers which is what she does now.
Thanks for any help you can give.

This website looks like it could have some good leads, just type in Boise, ID and then search in a 30mile radius.
