Default Visiting for a night

We will be visiting Boise for a day/night and we have never been. Flying in Saturday morning and flying out early Sunday afternoon. We are not renting a car. We enjoy good restaurants and fun nightlife. Is there a good area in Boise to stay where we can walk around and see the town? Any info. is appreciated.

Try Hotel 43

The Newest Luxury Boutique Hotel in Boise Idaho - Hotel 43

or The Grove Hotel

Boise Idaho hotel, lodging and accommodations, meetings, restaurants and special events at the Bank One Centre, The Grove Hotel Boise, Idaho

I like to eat at Chandler's which is in the same building as Hotel 43. It's a little spendy but I think the food is dynamite and the atmosphere is great. Asiago's, an Italian restaurant, is another one of my favorites.

Have fun!

hotel 43 is an excellent suggestion.. also the grove hotel is right near the grove which is in the center of nightlife.
the corner of sixth and main is where the sort of night club row is... there is also many other clubs and bars around town. anywhere down 8th street is full of martini bars and night spots that are more low key, and since you're a woman and just looking for a good time to dance or whatever.. on the corner of 8th street and Idaho on the second level is a place called the balcony which is a gay club, but very mixed crowd and is fun to just go and let loose and have a good time, Girls seem to LOVE going there...
Dunno if that helps...

just walk around downtown, there is alot of cool places down there. also if you can make it over to 13th street in the north end which is called hyde park, its a really cool part of town in the spring
let us know what you did while you were here.

my parents own a restaurant out by lucky peak that is called "ben's crow inn" or alot of people call it crows inn. well its got a nice patio and is a good spot to go for out of town fun but without a car it might be a little difficult since its about 7 miles from downtown
