I think Meridian is nearly 70,000 and Eagle is nearly 20,000 people now. Nampa and Caldwell have grown considerably too. So, yes, west of Boise is Meridian and the other cities mentioned.

Thank you for that info. I've noticed a lot of big homes for rent in Nampa. We lived there for about 6 months when I first moved to Idaho and we could hardly wait to move into Boise. I'll give it another look when I come at the end of the month.
