Hello all,

We will be in the area in the next few weeks, and I was hoping someone could suggest a cycling route of at least 25 miles or so. I would appreciate any suggestions!

If you want flat and shade: Ride the river greenbelt from Ann Morrison Park to Lucky Peak State Park and back.

If you're looking for a climb: Ride up Bogus Basin Rd as far as your legs will take you.

Here are a few random resources that will give you some ideas. Boise is a bike city with an extremely vibrant and strong scene and has more bike shops than you can shake a stick at
The shops have resources as well for looking for a route or trail.

Hill Road from Bogus Basin/Harrison Boulevard to Eagle and back is a very popular street cycling route.

If you happen to be in town later in July, this event takes place downtown and other areas of the city. You might even see local Olympian Kristin Armstrong.

You will find bicycling options of all lengths and difficulty.

The easiest is along the Boise River Greenbelt. Ironically, it is right at your 25 mile goal. https://www.ridgetorivers.org/hikes-...in-bike-loops/

For mountain biking, I suggest checking out Boise's Ridge to Rivers Trails: https://www.ridgetorivers.org/hikes-...in-bike-loops/

Since you will be here in the heat of the summer, you might consider taking your bike (either by riding it or driving it) up to Bogus Basin Ski Resort and enjoy their Gravity Park. You can use their chairlifts to go uphill and cruise as fast as you car to downhill. Rinse and repeat all day!https://bogusbasin.org/your-mountain...-gravity-park/

I am sure you will find something that will work well.
