Default New Plymouth information (50 miles from Boise )

Anyone out there familiar with the New Plymouth area? Looking at a good size ranch a few miles outside of the town. I know it's a small town and close to other somewhat more populated towns per the city data web page. Would appreciate any comments/information from those who are knowledgeable of the area, i.e. winter weather, people accepting of newcomers, bad or good place to live as far as the town itself, water problems, drugs. Any information would be appreciated.

If you're a rancher and want a small town life it'll be a good place for you. I graduated from my last year of High School there and have visited many times since. The people are nice and will wave as you pass by whether they know you or not. There are lots of religious cliches there so if you are Mormon you'll be immediately *in.* I liked it when I was there.

Thanks for the information. However, if this is a predominantly Mormon area, I'll pass.
