Corrections Corp. of America-Kuna
I have just started thinking about relocating from Kansas City, KS to Kuna to work at the privately-ran CCA Idaho Correctional Facility. Since this is the very start of this idea, I was wondering if any of you could fill me in on the city, recreational activities, working at CCA, housing, other employment in the area (for my wife-a credit analist for a pork company), climate, and overall satisfaction of living in the Kuna area. Desertryder-Do you know anything about Corrections Corporation of America, the company managing the jail there at Kuna? I've heard some good things and somw bad things about the company, but nothing about the Kuna jail. They have been running the jail there since 2000. Thanks. EIC

Don't live in Kuna!! You will die of boredom and spend a fortune on gas going to Boise for even the basics

Kuna is growing issues to consider include proximity to the train tracks proximity to dairies also make sure you go at night as that's when they spray fields. It's still a vast improvement over other areas of the country.
