Moving to Meridian...please help !! (renting, homes, homebuyer)

My fiance and I are moving to Meridian in April and I could use some help with information on the utility companies.

Can any help answer the following questions:

1. Gas/Electric Company
2. Telephone Company
3. DSL or Internet providers
4. Cable or Satellite companies
5. Water, Trash, Sewage

Is anyone familiar with the "Danbury Faire" sub-division? If so, can they tell me anything about it?

1. Intermountain Gas/Electric 1-877-510-6206
2. Qwest phone service call 1 800-244-1111.
3. Qwest--can package DSL with Phone, and Directv called "Bundle Package"
4. Cableone, Dishtv, Directv
5. Sanitary Services Co. (SSC) Phone 208-888-3999

Most of these you can request start service online or call.

Not familiar with Danbury Faire--I am somewhat familiar with Autumn Faire.

My husband and I just moved to Meridian in February. One thing that kind of threw me for a loop when setting everything up is that water/trash/garbage are all through the city of meridian. If you are renting a house, your landlord has to set up the account for you. You can't do it yourself.

Danbury Fair subdivision is located just off busy Fairview Avenue to the south in Meridian. The area is about 12 years old and has held its value rather well over the years. The homes are mostly 1100-1400 s.f., single-level for the most part, 3bed/2ba/2car and are approaching the $200,000 price. It was originally built as a first-time homebuyer community, and that's why they are smaller than the average home in Meridian.
