Talking Kudos to everyone on the Idaho forum!

Hi all! I just wanted to give you all kudos for your quick responses and information you provided to me on my first post. I have family in Utah who suggested their area for us to relocate to, so I asked a question in that forum (several weeks ago) and nobody ever answered. It appears in the Utah forum that many posts are never responded to.

That has clinched it for my husband and I -- we are Idaho bound! Again, thank you all for your kindness, I look forward to the day I can call Idaho home. I will keep reviewing the forum and will be sure to ask questions as they occur to me. I'll be talking to you all soon!

Hmmm... I'm sorry Utah was non-responsive, but I personally believe it led you to make a choice you won't regret. I'd take Idaho over Utah, but that's just me. I can see why some people would prefer Utah, but those people definitely aren't me.

Very nice of you to take the time to express your grattitude. Many come on the Idaho/Boise forum offering information/help/support for the benefit of fellow forum members. I think it's a true reflection of the quality of people you will find in this great state. Wishing you all the best on your relocation!

Torrie,

Your post kind of sums up the theme of the thread. Among others, you are one of the most helpful people to all who visit, from my experience.

Some people don't think of the time it takes working professionals to post here. In no way did I mean that to discount anyone else, I was simply making a point that some people try to help others in this format while others help their neighbors move furniture etc.

I still have "the weird refresh thing" with my computer that prohibits me from giving anyone points. I wish I could give you another for all the comfort and good tips you offer.

Certainly there are other people who do as well. I think one of the more interesting patterns this years is to see which of our fellow forumers have posted in areas they may not live in, telling their positive experiences of where to find something etc. I really do see a change this year....it seems like more people are trying to point out what each of the areas of Idaho have to offer.

Carry on the good work.

MSR

MSR, you are very kind! I've enjoyed helping and getting to know fellow forum members and yes I've spent a lot of time on here, but I wouldn't do it if my heart wasn't into it. Amazing what the Internet has done to offer people a place where they can go and get advice, data, etc, to help them make sound decisions. Sure wish City-Data was around when I did my moving! It's a team effort and getting input from everyone offers a great opportunity for those seeking to learn more about an area. I should say the same to you, a big thumbs up for all your time and advice you've shared on the forum.
