Default Help finding temporary housing to relocate

Hi there. I currently live in central pa and would like to move with my family to boise. I would like to find a place to rent temporarily preferably furnished but not necessary. I would like it to be a decent neighborhood. I have two kids 9 and 12. I am a nurse so I shouldn't have a hard time finding a job. I don't have one lined up but plan on putting apps in now. I would like to move in feb or march. I know nothing about the area other than what I have been researching online. I figure if we can find a temporary place, we can find jobs and check the area out and find a permanent place to live after we are there. Nobody is going to rent to the unemployed! We hav excellent references but not so good credit.(Long story there-exwife and ex-husband). So we figure if we can come and get jobs and get establishd we will be better off. So my dilema is where do I find something decent and temporary that we can easily rent. Even if it is a vacation rental that we could do for like 3 months. 6 months would be best. So where is the best place to look. i have checked craigslist and i figure the newspaper but locals shoudl have some better ideas.
Thanks so much in advance.

Craigslist seems to have the most, but beware of scams. Do not give money to anyone until you've actually been shown the property! Scammers have been listing properties on there saying they're for rent only to collect your money then leave you in the learch when you show up to move in.

You can try Smith Condos, they are fully furnished apartments. They have two locations, one in West Boise and one in SE Boise. I think SE Boise would be the best for you as it's close to both St.Al's on Curtis and St. Lukes downtown. I will send you a direct message with a link.

Hope this helps.
