Boise area Call centers
I wanted to get together a list of all the call centers in the area. Either customer service or telemarketing.
So far I know of
Qwest
Idaho Power
EDS
Direct TV
T-Mobile
Teleperformance
WDS
Sturner and Klein
Community Press Service
Wells Fargo
Citi Cards
Any more that I didnt name. I am more interested in Boise and Meridian area not Canyon county.

I work for WDS. The buzz down at work is that Microsoft might be building one here as well. No official confirmation that I know of, though.

I worked for DirecTV. The benefits are great, the training is extensive, and the center is really nice. I quit because working in a call center is not my thing, but I gave it a try. Everyone that had worked at EDS or other centers constantly spoke about how the DirecTV environment and commitment to their employees was better than most. Just my 2 cents!

I worked at the Alaska Airlines Call Center. They've been cutting back too. When I worked there we were open from 5am to 2am. Now they're down to 8am-11pm.
