Default Belmont Park subdivision?

Hi!

We are considering purchasing a home on the Belmont Park subdivision, off McMillan Rd...does anyone here happen to know this neighborhood and willing to give us some info on it? It seems nice from what we have seen. Also, we have two girls, 11 and 14--what are the schools like in the area?!

Thanks so much!

Ann

I looked up the only current listing in Belmont Park (for 209K) and it said the schools were mcmillan (grade school), Lowell Scott Middle and Centennial High. I know the middle and high score well on Great Schools. You might want to look up greatschools.net and/or schooldigger.com. Also, if you look up the Meridian Joint School district on Joint School District No. 2 - Home you can read up on the school report cards.
I don't know anything about the neighborhood itself.
Our realtor is pretty old school and she suggested knocking on doors to meet neighbors, calling the principal of the schools and also touring the neighbor at different times of day to see the activity in the neighborhood, etc. Trust me it works! You can get a really good feel for whether or not you will like an area by doing this.
Good luck and hope you find the home of your dreams for you and your family!
