Construction and home improvement is all but dead in Boise. Construction workers are working at call centers for lack of work. Home improvement stores are not hiring due to low sales.

Here is a link to a news story in today's paper about homes under construction in Kuna selling quickly. There is some construction going on around the city and valley but most jobs are probably already taken until the market picks back up again. Home improvement is always an on going project for many homeowners so you might have luck there. I see many home improvement signs around the city and especially the Northend.

There are up and coming large projects downtown that will need construction workers soon.
A new multi block multi million dollar project is supposed to get underway early next year and will need a lot of workers.
