I watched this game tonight, and frankly the score really should have been BSU 33-8, 'cause BSU made quite a few mistakes. The Duckies looked horrible in the first half, and BSU should have pounced, but we will take the win.

It did seem BSU dominated through most of the game. There were some first game mistakes but I think we'll see the Broncos in a major bowl game once they piece it all together.
Here's a link to the article on the game.

That was one ugly game; almost as ugly as Oregon's new uniforms. I can't say that EITHER team looked like Top 20 material. I think both teams are ranked way to high in the polls, anyway.

A plea to Oregon - PLEASE just pick one or two uniform styles and stick with it!
It took me a few minutes to figure out WTH was on their shoulders - I get that their duck feathers....but I don't "get" it. Oh Well...
Way to go Broncos!!

If I were the coach, the center would snap the ball to the quarterback 300 times per day until the next game. At this level, there's no excuse for that many flubs. BSU got away with a mediocre performance. Too bad the rest of the schedule is not tough enough to affirm their stature. If they run the table for the rest of the season, they'll get a BCS bid, but it won't be a good one.

Yeah, riddle me this batman: how come new uniforms are always worse than the ones before them. I can't think of one uni change in ANY sport, college or pro, that was for the best. (Well, maybe the NFL's Tampa Bay Bucs ditching that old orange for the pewter and red). I don't like the new BSU unis either with the orange spoilers on the back! LOL. Oregon used to have cool unis with the light green and yellow helmets and the whole "Quack Attack" thing.
Sorry..getting off the original thread here..but I'm a big sports nut and a uniform conneiseur. (sp?)
Let's start a thread on best college football uniforms?

Maybe so, but remember college football has no pre-season. First games always bring out a lot of miscues.
I thought it was a pretty good fight. And the football game wasn't bad either.

Yeah...that one was good. Another good fan sign that they showed on ESPN said: "Duck.....It's what's for Dinner."
