Where is the Best Public Golf Course in the Boise, Meridian Area (Eagle: real estate)

and by "Best" I guess I mean well kept fairways and greens and price? In your answer, can you tell me if there are 9 hole courses around also. Meridian and Eagle can be included in the answer

Golf course choices are pretty personal and I know squat about golf, so I'll leave the impressions of who has the best kept courses to the ones who know what they're talking about here. But you can search for Idaho golf courses by city on the visitidaho.org website:

Filter the search by Southwest Region.
I understand from my golfer friends that fees are pretty reasonable in general. I've heard Plantation and Eagle Hills named by them as reasonably price favorites.

Try Foxtail on Chinden. It's an executive style course with mostly par 3's and some longer holes. Easy to play everyday, easy to walk. Also have a driving range and nice practice area.

You can play 9 holes at Foxtail on Chinden.

My ranking (in order):
1. Banbury - but expensive unless you walk and play during the week.
2. Ridgecrest - excellent value; usually in very good shape.
3. Shadow Valley
4. Purple Sage

There's more but these are the ones I prefer to play.
