Smile Any old school playgrounds?

I'm looking for an old school playground in boise or meridian, but I'm not having much luck. Everything is plastic and super safe. Are there any playgrounds with merry go rounds, teeter totters and those metal rocking horses anymore?

You gotta go to places like Parma, Marsing, Ontario or any smaller town for the good stuff. I grew up right before all this safety BS happened.

Doesn't Camelsback still have some of those things? I also think that there are some small parks in the older neighborhoods off of broadway that still have some of those things.

Camel's back I think does.. sort of. I'm pretty sure merry-go-rounds don't exist anywhere anymore. I think they're a good lesson in g-force for kids, but you know, someone may get hurt, let's think of the children here.

Camel's back is all new safe stuff ... but it's pretty cool.

I know there is an old metal merry-go-round and an old swing set style set at a little park in Horseshoe Bend. Its a park just north of the Thunder Mountain Train ... at the corner of Horseshoe Bend Rd and W. Boise street

Horseshoe Bend Rd and W. Boise street Horseshoe Bend, ID 83629 - Google Maps

It's 20 miles North of Eagle on Hwy 55.

I am almost certain I have seen a merry go round recently in one or two of the small parks here off of broadway.
