I'm looking to outfit a small office, and so far I'm not having much luck with Craigslist. I'm mainly looking for a good price on a desk, office chair, and a filing cabinet.

I have a small car so I've been trying to arrange with sellers to deliver to the office, but so far all of them have either not shown up, or decided to sell the item to someone else instead after it was already promised to me.

I'm tired of dealing with flakes, so I was wondering if there are any reputable used office furniture dealers that deliver and don't charge an arm and a leg? I'd rather not go to the trouble of using a rental truck, but otherwise I may not have a choice.

There is a place at the corner of Barrister and Cole that is pretty good. Not sure if they deliver though.

Hey, if you're not in any hurry, there's a group called Corbett Auctions that has been helping businesses liquidate their assets throughout the year. I don't see any auctions in the near term, but I've gotten expensive office furniture for under $100. They are on the web. Sometimes, the auctionees also offer delivery, but mostly you have to plan on renting a truck.

I have two Hon 5' single pedestal desks with returns for sale. They are on the boise bench at our warehouse where I work. We could make you a good deal on them. We also have a matching credenza. If you live in the boise area we could deliver. email me at barry@sbicontractinginc.com and note the desks in the subject bar.

I was at The Bench Commission at Franklin & Roosevelt just about a week ago and they had a few desks. Don't remember if they had chairs or filing cabinets but their stock changes on a regular basis.

Try Sara's Secondhand furniture on the west side of Orchard between Franklin and Emerald too. They had some pretty good prices on stuff I was looking at.
