I asked someone who works in the social services industry in Boise the same question and he told me that occasionally you will find someone working under the connector overpass around 13th to 15th Streets. Most people who are in need of that particular service go to the oriental massage places and Boise PD generally turns a blind eye to keep demand for streetwalkers low. At least that is what this friend of mine said.
Okay I guess that makes sense tij and grmi. I've been walking in the evenings, sometimes on Overland and was thinking that in any other city I've lived in, that street would be prime corners for them. I like to change my route occasionally and just wanted to be sure I didn't walk in places to attract attention from johns or popo.
Yeah there's little to no street walker activity here. The prostitution is internet-based, and also found as an offshoot from other, loosely disguised "adult entertainment" type activities.
