Flat Bread Community Oven in Bown Crossing is always a nice place to take people for lunch. They have a website (just google it). It's near my work, and the people I take there always want to go back.

Gino's at Ten Mile and McMillan in Meridian. Nice subdued atmosphere, but large enough to accommodate 20, and the food is excellent.
